Established in 1982 as a GLAHCO subsidiary, the GLAHCO HOLDING LIMITED Agricultural Company (GLAACO) acquired 8,467 acres near Sogakope for commercial farming, primarily cultivating 500 acres of mangoes, making it Ghana’s largest mango plantation and winning multiple awards. GLAACO packaged produce for local and export markets and partnered with Messrs Roses and Lilies for flower cultivation. Since 2022, GLAACO has collaborated with Samisila Ltd. to develop 5,000 acres for various agricultural products.
